Stainless Steel Standoffs Released by SignStandoffs.com

SignStandoffs.com, a DisplayShops specialty site, has unveiled its newest line of decorative sign standoffs. Machined from solid stainless steel, these sign mounts can be applied to both interior or exterior locations.

"Sign standoffs act as decorative accents for wall-mounted signs and panels,” explains Marcus Miglio, webmaster for SignStandoffs.com. “These stainless steel standoffs bring a more modern, industrial look to wall displays.”

Three sizes are offered: 5/8” diameter x 5/8” off the wall, ¾” x ¾”, and 1” x 1”. The stainless steel comes in a fine brushed finish with a concentric brush finish for the standoff cap. This provides the tell-tale “criss-cross” effect reflected on the top of the cap as light passes over it. To install, holes must be drilled through the sign panel to accept the standoffs. The threaded cap is inserted through the hole in the sign, which then is screwed into the standoff barrel. They mount to any wall using standard screws and anchors and come in sets of four standoffs suitable for mounting one sign.

“Standoffs create a three-dimensional sign display for business entrances, office lobbies, reception areas, waiting rooms, retail establishments, and more,” continues Miglio. “Used in lieu of traditional picture frames, standoffs offer a less imposing footprint. By raising the sign panel off the wall, a more heightened sense of presentation is achieved due to their decorative nature.”
