G.P.I.’s vacuum tables are produced with heavy-duty, non-rusting anodized aluminum to achieve the perfectly flat surface required for high-quality printing. For the toughest applications, G.P.I. can manufacture the beds with the aircraft-quality stainless steel instead of aluminum. Constructed with either a standard impregnated, corrugated core or an aluminum honeycomb core, G.P.I. vacuums are available in sizes as large as 8' x 20' (2.4 x 6 m).

Options include additional vacuum hose connector outlets, disappearing guides or registration pins, sliding guides, cutouts and lift pins of various sizes and shapes. Each vacuum bed is custom made according to the customer’s specifications and is ready to ship in a matter of days. In addition to vacuum tables, G.P.I. also offers quiet vacuum motors that boast whisper-quiet, energy-efficient operation. These brush-free, spark-free motors require no maintenance and promise up to 20,000 hours of continuous usage.

Customers can choose from hundreds of different sizes and a range of electrical voltages to suit requirements anywhere in the world.

G.P.I. also has developed innovative airflow control systems that allow for firm vacuum hold-down of substrates. Manual airflow systems are available in either lever or chain-release models, while automatic systems feature foot-pedal operation for easy control. Blowback/flotation capabilities — which allow for easy take-off with no scratching of substrate — are available with all airflow systems.

Customers who aren’t ready to purchase new components can still enhance their flatbed printing system by allowing G.P.I. to resurface their vacuum tables. This exclusive patented service is a cost-effective alternative to replacing vacuum tables that have acquired dents and scratches from routine use or whose vacuum holes have become plugged with ink.
