Sihl Digital Imaging Adds to SureSolv Media Line

Sihl has introduced a new media for double-sided, large format inkjet printing with solvent inks. Designed for all the popular solvent printers, including ColorSpan, HP, Mimaki, Mutoh, Nur, Oce’, Roland, Scitex, Seiko and VuTek, SureSolv™ media combines high-quality image reproduction with economy pricing.

Sihl 3109 SureBet Double-Side Smooth w/Blockout 13 oz. gloss is a 14-mil banner comprised of a white vinyl face sheet, polyester fiber scrim, a black vinyl “block-out” layer, and a white vinyl back sheet laminated together to form a smooth, flexible, tear-resistant printing substrate. The face sheet is calendared PVC and the scrim fabric inner layer is 250 denier x 250 denier polyester fiber in 40 x 40 construction. Can be used for front-lit exterior and interior banners viewed from both sides…or printed one-side with high opacity to prevent “shine-through”. Its smooth print surface on both sides (no visible scrim pattern) is bright white for colors that pop. Can be grommeted, welded, sewn or taped, and is outdoor-durable due to its high tensile strength. Ideal for event signage, exhibitions and sporting events, point-of-purchase and other retail advertising. Available in roll sizes 39” width x 164 ft. long, 54” width x 164 ft., 72” width x 164 ft., and 98.4” x 164 ft.
