Graphtec America Inc. offers a New Baby Grand: Expanding the SignJet Pro Series with the JS310-25ES 100” Eco-Friendly Solvent Inkjet Printer

Graphtec America Inc. has expanded the wide format SignJet Pro series with the new Baby Grand JS310-25ES 100” Eco-Friendly Solvent Printer. This Baby Grand SignJet Pro model is an unbeatable cost/performance leader. Graphtec’s Authorized SignJet Dealers or professional service providers can provide installation services and user training to ensure that each system operator will achieve optimum results. In celebration of the JS310 launch, Graphtec is also including ten 6’ tall banner stands and print media (more than a $1000 Retail value) so you can get started making banners (and money) right away. The printers come complete with a full set of inks and everything you will need to get started printing as soon as the system is set up.

Graphtec’s Eco-Friendly, Low Solvent Inks are economical at 10 to 15 cents per square foot (depending on coverage and density), and durable up to 3 years outdoors (with appropriate media and coverage.) The SignJet Pro 72” and 100” models are compatible with a variety of manufacturers’ media, including most solvent inkjet sheet and roll media (up to 50 yards.) Both models utilize eight Xaar® Piezo-Electric print heads, two for each color (CMYK), with several different print settings including single/multi-pass and uni/bi-directional modes. The SignJet Pro provides print resolutions from 200 to 400 dpi at speeds from 296 sq. ft./hr(Draft mode) to 81 sq. ft./hr (Highest Quality mode). These printers are ideal for fast production of large outdoor text and graphics, full color banners and printed vinyl graphics, POP Display, posters, promotional graphics, and floor graphics.

The SignJet Pro connects to the host PC via a USB 2.0 High Speed bus and includes a software setup utility and a basic SignJet RIP. The printers are also compatible with popular software RIP applications including SAI and ONYX products for more advanced production workflows. Take advantage of a complete Graphtec “Print AND Cut system” by combining the SignJet Pro with an FC7000 Series Cutting Plotter (four models, 30”, 42”, 54”, 64” models). A two-component system provides maximum flexibility and equipment utilization with the ability to print and cut simultaneously.

The SignJet Pro includes a motorized rear loading media supply system (that does not require roll core support) and an automatic front take-up roller to ensure even media tensioning during printing. The media pre/post heaters and print drying fans ensures excellent ink adhesion and rapid drying time for optimum throughput and productivity. Operating at 220VAC the SignJet Pro is more energy/cost efficient than similar printers that run on 110VAC.
