ISA Offers New Signage Resource To Hundreds Of Thousands Via U.s. Chamber’s Web Site

Alexandria, VA - Imagine 150,000 business owners learning about their sign rights every month. In order to provide valuable information to the business community, the International Sign Association (ISA) has secured a new partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In this landmark collaboration, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has published a detailed section on signage, authored by ISA, on its Web site, www.uschamber.com. This in-depth section, entitled Signage: Your Voice on the Street, provides a wide-reaching audience valuable information on signage purchasing decisions. Designed to educate business owners on the importance of on-premise signs as marketing tools and to serve as a sign-related information resource, the extensive virtual “toolkit” is located in the Small Business Center section of the Web site.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on an effort such as this,” said ISA President and CEO Lori Anderson. “Developing sign-related content for the Chamber’s extensive Web site offers ISA an enormous opportunity to be seen by small business as the leading source of sign industry information.”

Divided into eight distinct sections, Signage: Your Voice on the Street explores a variety of topic areas, from the value of signs to dealing with local sign codes. The sections include: Signs: The Bottom Line; Signs as Marketing; The Right Sign for Your Business; How to Choose a Sign Company; Financing a Sign; Your Legal Rights; Applying for a Permit, and Obtaining a Variance.

“The ISA-Chamber collaboration is another example of the association’s efforts to reach out to businesses that are not already familiar with the sign industry,” said Anderson. “As the trade organization representing the on-premise signage industry, it’s our responsibility to educate business owners of the important role signs play in their success,” she said.

See ISA’s signage toolkit online at www.uschamber.com/sb/marketing/signage/default. For more information, contact ISA at (703) 836-4012 or visit www.signs.org.

ISA is a 1,900 member organization composed of manufacturers, users, and suppliers of on-premise signs and sign products produced by more than 400,000 employees in all 50 states and 69 foreign countries. ISA exists to support, promote, and improve the $30 billion-a-year sign industry, which sustains the nation’s nearly $3 trillion-a-year retail industry.
