Juno Lighting Group Names Amelia Huntington, President and Chief Executive Officer

DES PLAINES, IL - Amelia Huntington has been named president and chief executive officer for Juno Lighting Group, a leader in innovative commercial and residential lighting solutions.

A senior executive with nearly 20 years of electrical industry and management experience, Huntington has been serving as interim CEO for Juno Lighting Group, a subsidiary of Square D and Schneider Electric, since March 24. She is based at Juno’s corporate offices located in Des Plaines, Ill. outside of Chicago.

“It’s an exciting time to come on board with Juno Lighting Group,” said Huntington. “With a focus on our customers and product innovation, we are well poised for growth that continues to outperform the industry.”

Prior to joining Juno Lighting Group, Huntington spent 18 years at parent company Schneider Electric.

“Amy brings great talent, experience and drive to this new challenge,” said Dave Petratis, president and CEO, Schneider Electric North American Operating Division. “Her abilities, when combined with those of our strong management organization and all Juno Lighting Group employees, represent a formidable team capable of delivering outstanding performance within the industry and an unmatched focus on the needs of our customers.”

After joining Square D in 1988, Huntington quickly advanced to positions of increasing responsibility throughout the organization. Starting as a field sales engineer, she assumed various roles within field management in the Northeastern U.S. before moving to Schneider Electric’s North American Operation Division’s corporate headquarters in Palatine, Ill. in 1996 to join the channel management organization. She then assumed responsibility for the U.S. strategic accounts organization before being named senior vice president of Schneider Electric global business development in 2001. She was then appointed senior vice president of business development and strategy in 2004, accountable for leading Schneider Electric’s North American Operating Division merger and acquisition activity.

“Juno Lighting Group has a terrific culture of innovation, quality, service and partnership and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to lead this dedicated team,” Huntington said.

Huntington holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial management/industrial engineering and a master of science degree in management, both from Purdue University.
