Author Signs Copies Of Sign Industry Textbook At ISA Expo 2006
Alexandria, VA - Charles R. Taylor, Professor of Marketing at Villanova University and co-author of the book, “On-Premise Signs as Storefront Marketing Devices and Systems,” met with attendees and signed copies of the book during the ISA International Sign Expo earlier this month in Orlando, Fla.
Taylor, who joined noted sign regulation authorities Thomas A. Claus and Susan L. Claus in penning this landmark book, fielded questions and commented on the work that went into researching and compiling the data found within the publication.
The publication, recently sent to colleges and universities across the U.S., provides marketing students and professionals with information about the importance of signs as a business communication tool.
“Signs are vital to a business’s survival; acting to build memory of a business and to influence potential customers to shop,” said ISA President and CEO Lori Anderson. “Surprisingly, the value of on-premise signage has not been fully realized by the small business community. This book changes the dialogue. Through this book, we are taking steps to train both our current and future business leaders about the role signage plays in the success of their companies.”
“We were thrilled to give attendees at our Expo the opportunity to meet personally with one of its authors,” continued Anderson.
