3M and Clear Focus Imaging Settle Patent Infringement Dispute Over One-Way Vision Graphics

SANTA ROSA, CA ­ -­ 3M Innovative Properties Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of 3M, and Clear Focus Imaging announce that they have resolved a patent infringement suit filed in the United States District Court in Northern California in October 2005 relating to the sale of one-way vision graphics.

As a result, 3M will continue to be a licensee of Clear Focus Imaging for one-way vision graphics products under three patents owned by Clear Focus Imaging: U.S. Patent Numbers 5,525,177; 5,609,983; and 5,773,110.

3M has been a licensee of Clear Focus Imaging for almost ten years and both companies have played a major role in the development of the market for one-way vision graphics.
