ASPT Introduces Student Competition; Entry Deadline July 1
Fairfax, Virginia - The Academy of Screen Printing Technology Student Screen Printing Awards launches this year, with a July 1 deadline for entries. All entries must have been produced during the 2005-2006 school year.
"The competition is an excellent opportunity for students to have their work seen and evaluated by leaders in the screen printing industry," said Dawn Hohl, Technical Training Manager.
Judging will be separated into divisions - Secondary (high school and vocation school students) and Post-Secondary (technical school, college or university students) - substrate and process. All entries will be showcased within the Golden Image Display area at SGIA '06 (Las Vegas Convention Center, September 26-29, 2006).
Sponsored by ASPT and ST Media International, the competition is open to all secondary and post-secondary schools that are members of SGIA, FESPA or ASGA. "Best of Show" winners in the competition will receive a monetary scholarship, sponsored by ST Media, Hohl said.
